Buddy's Crabhouse & Oyster Bar was founded in November of 1991.

Original location  35 North Lumina Avenue across form Roberts Groceries.

Survived Hurricane Fran & Bertha.Thank God & all those who helped us clean & reopen.

Buddy added the handrail and facial cedar at the original  location, before it was just an open patio and had no distinguishing charateristics. He also came up with the idea of  constructing the large windows across the front of the building to fold open so you constantly had fresh breezes blowing in from the ocean.

The 35 north lumina property was sold in 2002 .

Buddys relocated (dollars,bar and all) to 13 East Salisbury street next to Johnnie Mercers Pier.

The grand opening was on Halloween 2002

THE MEMORIES OF THE OLD LOCATION WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED, ALONG WITH OUR GREAT CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES WHO HELPED CREATE THEM.
